I think definitely one of the things I have learn in the close to 10 months in braces is caring a lot less what other people think about my braced look which is an awesome feeling and is one that I can share for those who are considering braces but are worried about how it may affect their appearance.
Here's my progress thus far...
The changes are definitely a lot more subtle in the front especially but my bite is improving, here's where my extraction gaps are at
My bite is improving and the gaps are definitely closing, with every visit my elastics get changed to a thicker one, strangely through no real pain (not complaining though), for those who are not familiar with what they look like here's an example
I also now have 3 orthodontic brushes of varying sizes as the movement have opened up gaps or black triangle looking holes between my teeth, here's the ones I'm using at present
(1) Oral-B - Fantastic for cleaning in between brackets
(2)Watsons - Fantastic for cleaning the "black triangles" between teeth
Hi, chanced upon your blog while searching for damon clear reviews!
ReplyDeleteSimilar to you, I'm 33 and about to be braced tomorrow. It'll help me tremendously if you can share if damon clear would be stained easily as I'm a coffee drinker.
Thank you!
Still drinking coffee and tea like there's no tomorrow, damon braces don't stain =)
Deletegood luck with your braces journey and welcome to the club!
DeleteHello san ka nag pa brave and how much?? Thanks pls reply..
ReplyDeleteI did my braces in Singapore not Manila, but in general damon clear braces will be more expensive than the traditional metal brackets or damon metal
DeleteMy personal opinion? If you dont mind the aesthetic the metal brackets are cheaper ;) good luck sa braces!
There are no more updates after this? I chanced upon your blog as I just extracted 2 wisdom teeth and am going for Damon Q as well
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous! Sorry for the lack of posting but I will update this in the next few days with the progress and my debracing process =)
DeleteAll in all, there is nothing to complain after you see your final results, I'd say go for it, it will be the best thing you'll ever do for yourself promise
Also, know that you are not alone in this journey, when I was braced I joined www.archwired.com/ which is a forum full of adults like you and me being braced for the first time in their lives, I highly recommend it =)
